Some headshots of Brian and Al, a sketch of Wiighra having a conversation over dinner, and some concepts of Brian's hands. I wanted to add some subtle equine influence to Brian's human half, with things like the slightly upturned nose, the pointed ears, and the thick, dark fingernails.
I switched to a regular #2 pencil (Dixon Ticonderoga, the best pencils on Earth) for this page. The results are a little rougher than usual, but much freer and more expressive.
